On the morning of September 19, 2026, the charity project Mekong’s Moon 2026 organized by Mekong Seafod Connection presented 400 gifts to underprivileged individuals in the area. Beyond material support, the project aimed to bring warm, heartfelt gifts to the community on the occasion of the reunion-themed Mid-Autumn Festival.

Before the event had officially begun, many elderly people and children had already gathered at the distribution site. Mixed among them were the innocent eyes and cheerful smiles of children, eagerly waiting to receive their gifts and meet “Chị Hằng” (the Moon Fairy). Witnessing this scene, the Mekong’s Moon team could not help but feel moved, and even more appreciative, for behind each small Gift Voucher lies a great deal of anticipation that is not always visible at first glance.

ABOUT MEKONG’S MOON

Mekong’s Moon was created from a simple wish: no matter how small, every act of kindness can help light up a corner of someone’s life. The project is a charitable initiative carried out by Meksea, with support from local authorities and the Women’s Union of Phước Long Ward.

This Mid-Autumn season, Mekong’s Moon continues its mission of bringing a loving Mid-Autumn Festival to the elderly, those living alone, and those facing hardship and difficult circumstances in the area. For many, the gifts given that morning may not have been large in material value, but for those in need, it was a rare moment of being remembered, receiving words of encouragement and care from the staff of Meksea.

Mekong’s Moon 2026 would not have been possible without the support of so many caring hearts.

First, we would like to express our appreciation to the local authorities and the Women’s Union of Phước Long Ward, whose trust, companionship, and support helped connect Mekong’s Moon to many people in need, further spreading a spirit of community care to even more lives. Especially, we would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to the entire Board of Management and staff of Meksea, who contributed to the project from its very first preparations, quietly lending their support to make the event thoughtful and complete. 

Looking back on the journey so far, Mekong’s Moon understands that there are still many people out there who need support, community members who have not yet had the chance to know about our project, hoping for something warm to come their way. This is exactly what drives us to keep going, striving to bring more seasons of love to the community in the years ahead.

On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, Meksea would like to extend warm wishes to all elders, adults, and friends for a complete, peaceful, and joyful family reunion season!
