Bringing Vietnam’s premium seafood to customers worldwide

In Barcelona, Meksea and our partners have opportunities to discuss potential sales plans together after a long time affected by the covid-19 and market fluctuations. Through Seafood Expo Global, Meksea received positive feedback and the highest satisfaction with our products and service.

On this business trip, Meksea brought our key point and premium seafood products from Vietnam which have been paid attention by many countries in the world such as pangasius, shrimp, tuna, marine fish, freshwater fish, cephalopods, bivalves, etc. Moreover, meeting customers in the Seafood Expo Global show, Meksea has a chance to listen to shares and bright ideas which positively enhance the needs of global customers.

During three days in Barcelona, Meksea’s team welcomed about 500 partners & customers from many different markets and received about 300 inquiries and many value supply agreements in pangasius, shrimp, clam, marine fish, cephalopods, VAT products and etc from Vietnam. Vietnam’s seafood products are popular in many countries and highly appreciated by international customers for both quality and stable supply.

In particular, Vietnam is the world’s largest source of pangasius with a market share of more than 75% (2020). Currently, we are one of the leading pangasius suppliers for the US, EU and other major markets. Therefore, Vietnam’s pangasius is highly competitive with white fish supplies in the world.

Besides, products such as shrimp, clams, sea fish, octopus and etc of Vietnam are also favored in many countries, especially in the period of the HORECA service industries have returned to normal. Therefore, it can be seen that Vietnam’s seafood can completely be selected as an alternative source due to the fluctuation of global seafood.
