The Seafood Expo Global (SEG) takes place annually in Brussels, Belgium- is the world’s largest seafood trade event and the meeting place for the fishery community worldwide. The SEG 2019 was officially opened in Brussels Exhibition Centre for 3 days from 07 to 09 May 2019. This year exhibition gathered 1,900 exhibitors and attracted more than 26,000 visitors from not only organizations in the industry but also the professionals in the fishery field who came from 140 countries worldwide to attend the exhibition.

Being recognized as one of outstanding stopovers in the fair, Meksea brought abundant seafood resources of Vietnam to this venue. Follow the success of the previous shows, it was our honor to offer to international customers the main products such as: Pangasius fish,  BT Shrimp, Van Shrimp, Baby Octopus, Squid, Cuttlefish, and some pelagic fishes like Tuna, Mahi Mahi and Red mullet,…which all qualify at international standards: ASC, Global GAP, HACCP, BRC, SGS, HALAL, etc.

Meksea was honored to welcome more 150 attendees to discuss the new trade agreements EVFTA, CPTPP and state of global seafood market together with development solutions.

At this year’s expo, Meksea was honored to welcome Mr. Vu Anh Quang – Head of Mission of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the European Union on his encouraging visit to Meksea’s booth

We were pleased to have attendees’ purchasing plans and received more 150 inquiries from customers around the world including Belgium, UK, Netherlands, England, France, UAE, Thailand, etc. At SEG, we successfully signed 23 contracts with values up to USD 800,000 . This was a great motivation for Meksea to continue trying and affirming its position in the Global Seafood Community.

In the coming days, Meksea will constantly continue making efforts to learn, to improve and develop ourselves to be worthy of our customers’ expectations and ideas.
